Some of last year's successes...
- 835 Canadians were tested for HIV and other STBBI at 69 different locations across the country.
- The event received national media coverage from news outlets such as Global, Radio-Canada, and La Presse.
- Point-of-care testing (POCT) was introduced to regions where it had not previously been available, such as Atlantic Canada. POCT is a newer testing technology that has been proven to be very effective with populations that traditional testing misses.
